Ceder's Crisp alcohol-free gin is a sweet and refreshing spirit made from carefully selected aromatic plants (Juniper berry, Rooibos, Buchu), citrus, combined with cucumber, and calming chamomile. In this "Crisp" version, the juniper berry base is complemented by a combination of intriguing herbs such as cucumber to balance the bitterness, or chamomile, for its soothing side. The body of the gin is enhanced by a deliciously refreshing hint of lemon. This non-alcoholic spirit appeals to cocktail enthusiasts or those who cannot drink alcoholic beverages. The Ceder’s name comes from the magnificent Cederberg region of the Western Cape – a mountainous area known for its rugged beauty and its unique plants, some of which have found their way into these
new drinks. Created in 2017 by (husband and wife) entrepreneurs Craig Hutchison and Maria Sehlstrom - Ceder’s joined Pernod Ricard in January 2021. Ceder’s Crisp recipe has been developed by distilling both classic gin botanicals like juniper with more exotic South African botanicals like rooibos and buchu, sourced from the Cederberg Mountains of the Western Cape in South Africa – where Ceder’s gets its name. Ceder’s is bottled in Sweden after blending with pristine Swedish water. On the nose, the Ceder’s Crisp non-alcoholic gin offers a refreshing mix of classic juniper, followed by citrus, lightly sweet cucumber, and soothing chamomile. While on the palette, the juniper is evidently present but supported by deliciously floral notes.
