Ciroc

Ciroc is a vodka founded in 2003 by Jean-Sébastien Robicquet, its Master Distiller, and marketed by its producer as ultra-premium. It is produced at the Maison Villevert distillery in Villevert, in the South of France, and the brand is owned by Diageo. That French origin is central to how Ciroc is positioned, because the vodka is made from grapes rather than from grain.

Ciroc is distilled from grapes rather than grain, from what the producer calls fine French grapes. The wine that results is distilled four times in column stills, and then a fifth time in a traditional copper pot still. Because the base is grape rather than grain, Ciroc is gluten-free. The grape base and that final pot-still pass are what set it apart from vodkas built on grain.
