The story of Porcupine Ridge
Porcupine Ridge dates to 1997, when its first label, a Sauvignon Blanc, appeared. The range comes from Boekenhoutskloof, the farm in Franschhoek, South Africa, and takes its name from the Crested Porcupine found on that farm. That first 1997 label carried a pen-and-ink drawing by the wildlife artist Zakkie Eloff.
