Strongbow

Strongbow is an apple cider owned by HEINEKEN, through Heineken Brouwerijen B.V. of Amsterdam. Its cider-making facilities are spread across ten countries: Belgium, Bulgaria, Malaysia, Nigeria, Russia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa and the United Kingdom. South Africa is one of the ten.

Strongbow is made from fermented apple juice, with colour, acidity and a small amount of natural flavour rebalanced during blending to keep the taste consistent. It uses mostly culinary apple varieties such as Braeburn, Jazz, Gala, Granny Smith and Red Delicious, with bittersweet cider apple juice also used in some of the drier ciders in the UK and Belgium. All Strongbow ciders are gluten free, and every flavour is vegan except Strongbow Honey.
