Leeuwenkuil Family Vineyards is a Dreyer family business, owned by Willie and Emma Dreyer. The estate is based in the Swartland in South Africa, at Vryguns Road, Windmeul, Paarl.
Leeuwenkuil makes its wines with natural fermentation, low sulphur levels and vegan winemaking, which gives unoaked wines with a fresh minerality. The Shiraz is fermented and aged with no oak at all, to preserve the purity of Swartland fruit. In the 2026 Platter's Guide, the Leeuwenkuil Heritage Syrah 2022 was named Shiraz of the Year.
