Glen Carlou is a wine estate in Simonsberg-Paarl, Western Cape, South Africa, specialising in Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. Since 2016 it has been owned by a South African family consortium led by Wayne Pitout.
Glen Carlou's vineyards sit on the northern slopes of the Simonsberg Mountain, on free-draining soils of granite and quartz. Winemaking is guided by cellarmaster Johnnie Calitz and includes early morning harvesting, minimal sulphur use and soil-moisture probes. The estate's focus is Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.
